may dead_writer@hotmail.com I knew that she ripped me off, and the feeling wasn't so much of being jewed out of some X amount of dollars or comodity; it was rather I considered her a comrade. One worthy of an unspoken yet well founded feeling of trust. I know from experience that ignoring what goes down only perpetuates the problem. I told her off, right off when I first smelled the rat, but she was in no state of mind to remeber what I had meant the next morning. know she has her own problems. Lord knows how hard done by we, as a society, like to be. But where does pity fit into setting a human straight? Not that I am any 'hollier then thou,' I just call things as I see them, and think about what I yell after it's permeates their meager minds. It's a bad habit, but so is life. So I was in the shower, feeling quite burnt out; having no anger or agression to spare. A calm, earie cool passed over me, what I had to do was old hat. I heard her walk into the bathroom. It's funny sometimes how you can feel a certain person's presence without having to be reasured by any sensory resceptors. I shut the tap off and threw the hanging towl onto my head, calling out without raising my voice, "I have to reprimand you." It sounded monotonous, more like a chore or duty than something that contained any real passion. She did not know up until that point that I was in the same room as her, but it was a mistake that she had made and now had to weasle out of. Concealing any hint of surpise or shock she retorted, "Reprimand? What does that mean?" She asked me the definition of a word, testing the waters that she had walked into. I do hold respect for those who can't run away from conflict, like a snarling dog; you can never run away. "Reprimand..." I reapeated lifelessly and nonchalant. Continuing, "It's like when the dog piddles on the carpet. You have to rub his nose in it, so he knows what he did wrong, so he won't do it again". The black widow eats her mate after she uses him, survival of the fittest applies to the human animal as well. They say if you are going to have to step on people to get ahead in life, to wear a pointy heel. It's not that I believe that power lies in the barrel of the gun, or the extent you will fight before your physical body is torn and shredded no less then a piece of pseudo important meat. "Ohh," was her well thought out response. I get no thrill out of intimdating people, I am not that sadistic. Likewise, I think mind games and beating around bushes are equaly as cruel. "What do you mean," she asked ready to have it socked to her? "Well, do you figure I'm blind - or just stupid?" I asked it as if there was a right answer. That is to say one that would not result in bodily harm. Her face flushed a deep shade of pink and she swallowed a lump in her throat. If I were a real animal she would reak of fear.
